Inspirational Writers Alive! A ministry of creative writers purposed to glorify Jesus Christ. The Houston Chapter of Inspirational Writers Alive! was founded in 1993 by Wanda Shadle. The mission of this and all other Texas-based Chapters is to help and encourage writers and would-be writers who want to share the love of Jesus Christ through publication of their works in both religious and secular markets. IWA! Annual Writers Conference IWA! holds an annual conference where all writers can come together for networking, making friends, seeing old friends and expanding upon the knowledge of the craft of writing through workshops, interesting keynote speakers and one-on-one appointments with editors and authors. The conference is held in August of each year. Details will be posted soon! |

IWA! Writing Contest This contest coincides with the IWA! Annual Writers Conference. Entries are accepted beginning January 1st through May 15th each year. Awards in each category will be presented during the conference in August, however, you do NOT need to be present to win.
